Sorry for the derail Ken. The original question would be a good topic for a separate thread for learning purposes.The problem with those types of "common names" are that they can be attributed to many different fish.
Since this thread seems to have taken all kinds of twists and turns..., does anyone know of any catfish that get kind of big that have small mouths and are not predatory. Or perhaps any other fish that gets kind of big and is not mean?
