Hi guys,
Arin here. I've been keeping African Cichlids for about 5 years now. I have bought fish from several breeders/hatcheries in Michigan...a lot of the well known names, over the years. I used to do a lot of breeding in the Windsor area, but because of people being to cheap here to buy the nice and hard to find species I used to breed....I got out it. I still have 6-7 tanks running in my house at any given time, but all the fish in them I keep for myself.
The only fish I am breeding at the moment, are "Lethrinops Albus 'Kande'" , because I they are just so hard to find real Albus and I was lucky enough to find really ones which I received as F2 babies. They are now Juvi sized, but already almost fully colored and breeding like bunnies. Every 3 weeks, they're spawning, and because of the stunning colors of the fish already, the kind I haven't seen around on anyone's albus, I decided to breed them.
Now just keep keep the fish for myself, the kinds I like....which are mostly larger Haps and predators (I'd like to build my collection of Predators bigger) and a few of my favorite nice strains of peacocks.
