I scored a couple of decent catches of nice Maumee River walleye this Spring...with the cooler weather the bite has slowed down but the river is still full of pre & post spawn fish. The bite has ebbed and peaked numerous times this year. The early warm spell we had brought fish into the river ahead of schedule. They stick around for the optimum spawning conditions with is relative to water temp so this year we have an extended run with another few weeks of good walleye fishing to come yet.

Anyone fishing 'eyes up in Mi yet?
Any other fishing action to mention for early Spring?
All the best folks,
Danny
