That was literally the exact play in which a penalty shot should be called. Everything that happened during that play justifies the penalty shoo t call.
And they straight up got out played anyways. Even when they were up they looked bad.
The penalty shot call was absolutely horrible. I'm not saying Detroit deserved to win or lose, but making such a weak call in such a huge game was absolutely ridiculous. It's such a weak call, I'd still be complaining no matter what game it was called in.
I say the refs were taking sides so that why we got the penalty box so many times....

Everything that happened during that play justifies the penalty shoo t call. Ever played hockey? The defender doesn't have to give up once the forward gets past him. If he'd significantly hooked or tripped him down to the ice I wouldn't argue with a penalty shot. The defender didn't exactly give him a two-handed swing of a slash. I'm also not saying it shouldn't perhaps have been a penalty for slashing, but it wasn't worthy of a penalty shot.QuoteAnd they straight up got out played anyways. Automatic penalty shot.

Automatic penalty shot.Wait a stickcheck, a sticklift, a pokecheck, or even a check is an automatic penalty shot? I believe that that is a wrong statement because all of those are plays are at the puck just not directly. now if he hit his body with the stick yes or if he hit him without the puck yes that is a penalty but no where in that replay did I see him hit his body I saw all stick and if it did hit his body (i did not see) it was minimal. Now if he did hit his hand go on and call that but from the views I saw it looked like nothing. nuff said by meGO Wings game 7!!!
