MCA is just a super club. We had a great day today. This was the first time we've done a late spring auction. Was everything perfect? Far from it but we learned a LOT and hope to make things even better going forward. Even though our total bag count was down by like 40%-50% our previous auctions, with the help of our raffles, t-shirt sales, concessions, and vendors the club with net about the same as a normal auction. That is AMAZING!
It was great to have the vendors there. I was able to pick up like 10 pleco caves for $40 -

from Plecocaves.com, 15 Tropheus Kachese from Oyers, and 12 Red Ancistrus, 30 Red Sakura Shrimp, 8 Lelupi, and 8 Juli Regani from Durkins. These purchases would not have been possible in the normal auction and without the support of our awesome vendors.
Hagen's donation of the FX6 was a huge help in generating revenue for the club as well as all the other donations from other manufacturers and club members. These donations where EXTREMELY appreciated!
Thanks to ALL the volunteers today including our Auction Chairman Tony G who was unable to make it today but put a ton of work into making this a successful event over the past few weeks.
