Hello
« on: April 02, 2013, 01:21:07 AM »
Hello Everyone,  I finally got my 55 gallon tank back and I am loving it.  I am slowly working on getting it to what I want.  I want to make it a Discus Community tank.  Haven't gotten any Discus but I am working on that.  I am going to build a refugium before I get them.

Welcome to forum.   How do you plan to use a refugium on a freshwater tank?  I have only used them on saltwater tanks.

Don't they work the same in both?

Yes, they work pretty much the same way. It's also a nice place to have, when you need to separate a fish for some reason, or like I used to do, grow plants in them.

Thanks Northern, after I said that, I thought how cool a planted freshwater refugium would be.
