Thats the problem... the FISH didnt catch my eye... the NAME did. 

We were assured that they were what they were labeled and that they were new to the tank and hadnt gotten color yet.  I took their word for it.  At least ur fish store trys to label them. Our new pet store had three different tank with cichlids. One marked "mixed african cichlids" one marked medium cichlids and a third marked "premium cichlids". Just freakin sad still. I'd rather buy at walmart...

I'm not a fish snob either.  But,I do expect a fish to be what it is labeled.

Whoa whoa. I was kidding. I just through that in to further express ??? just how bad the situation is at my new LFS.

I go to Walmart when I'm bored and just people watch !   What a trip !  Especially down south in Tennessee or Kentucky...

They should make it a law that not everyone should wear spandex...

Funny you mention going to people watch... My brother that lived in Florida used to go just about every sunday...He was down near the gulf, Leehigh Acres... Lots of entertainment there...

Lehigh Acres - I have been there!  Roughly 30 miles inland from Ft. Myers. Small World...We stayed in a Time Share there several years ago...
