It was interesting to see what things went for. Some stuff that I thought would go for a lot, didn't, and others went surprisingly high. It all depends on who's there when and what they want, I guess.
I enjoyed participating mostly by running more than buying fish or equipment. Primarily because my tanks are pretty full but also because the 7 or 8 bags I was most interested in went for good prices but more than I wanted to pay until seeing what Christmas brings.

I was probably being bit of a cheapskate but also trying to practice self-control.
Still came away pretty happy with a nice big bag of assorted foods and a tank that was a perfect fit for a short shelf in our laundry/fish room. Along with a nice trio of swordtails. And some quite useful sponge filters. And I sold off what I brought to sell.
I decided I will perhaps try my hand at separating off some pairs or groups of fish I already have into the newly open tanks.
I will be vigorously encouraging/pushing/guilting several of the other MCAS members into helping out more with the running at the Feb auction.

It was a tiring but good day.
Looking forward to the Jan MCA auction as well.
