Hi my name is Garrett, I moved to Michigan almost 3 years ago now from socal. I have had aquariums for about the last 20 years. In the past I've done everything from convict cichlids, to reef tanks, to newts, to planted. Currently I have 6 tanks. One small planted shrimp tank, 4 breeding tanks and a 60g catchall tank. I had really giving up on cichlids until i realized my hard well water would be great for Tangs. So right now I have Gombe, dickfeldi blue, black calvus, & a breeding krib pair with a ton of fry.
I have never really joined any regional clubs before I have never lived anywhere long enough, but having bought our first house last year, I'm looking forward to getting involved in the local Cichlid community.
