I picked up a few different bags of vallisneria for the two show tanks I'm keeping set up.
I also had a nearly brand new Home Depot bucket and lid returned to me.....but then I let Kenny, Rocknhardplacecichlids, borrow it to try and save a large fish that wasn't doing well in the bag.
Kenny, did that big male survive or are you stuck with the two females?

Fish dying in their bags...that is awful...what about having O2 available to reinflate bags for those that don't have it at home a small fee to cover costs?

I did that for a few auctions and I managed to save quite a few fish for people but it got too out of control.
People were coming to me to rebag so many fish for additional reasons that I literally had no time to do anything else.

Gotcha. Yea I guess it's a tough thing with so many lots coming thru. A big tension for the club to police between having responsible sellers who know what they're dojng when bagging and keeping a wide variety of lots available for buyers. In Australia when I went to the Perth Cichlid Society auction people would take fresh water, battery air pumps and coolers. When peeps bought fish they would acclimate them into fresh water in the coolers and run the air pump. Very few losses of fish bought at auction there...
