Fish bags
« on: January 05, 2017, 12:41:01 PM »
Can someone please give me some resources for fish bags. I really miss the days when I could go to Wet Thumb and look at the bags when choosing. I know that they are available at the meetings already. In case I can't make it to the meeting I need to know some other good options. Part of the problem is that I do not know what sizes I will need without seeing the bag. I need several different sizes.

For example what size bag do I need for 5-10 1.5" fish?
What size for one 6" oscar?

I can eyeball them well enough but not sure how to choose by measurements alone.

I use the square bottom bags now from clearbags.com.  For example a 5" fish I put in one quarter box bag.  Your 5 to 10 1.5" fish, I would bag 5 to each quarter box bag.  I use always use bags bigger than needed.
