Has anyone tried Game fish food for African Cichlids?

I came across an article which says that Trout feed is good for African Cichlid fry. Has anyone tried something like this?

I've thought about it on the basis that in more recent years I've started suspecting that more people are repackaging such foods as their own special brands. It's really cheap for a big bag of game fish food, but I also think that the protein requirements don't necessarily fit for african cichlids in many cases. It's more than just % protein, but what kind of protein the fish is getting, as they digest various foods differently. If I had game fish or perhaps tankbusters I'd feed it, but otherwise, no thanks.

That stuff looks like Plecocaine and comes in the same sizes basically and got me wondering now.

As far as the fry starter 100 I would not feed that to any tropical fish after seeing this:

I too have run across articles about Aquamax. So, I've tried  Purina Aquamaxs'  different mixes....my fish ate them, no problems. JMO
