general Aulonocara question

I just want to clearify / confirm I have a German Red before I get a spawn from this male.

I have recently purchased some additional GRs before color from one of our members. Other males I have received from them have had a very vibrant orange color with no question. this guy that I am questioning is a little less orange and a bit more yellow.

The question is, is this simply a color variation or is he some other kind of Aulonocara.

The German Red is line bred, I would expect some variation.  I am not experienced with Peacocks, but if you posted pics of the the different variations you may get some better feedback.
