have a spawn of Juli  marlieri
have a spawn of Juli transcriptus

should I leave them with parents
what should I be feeding them

Are the parents kept in a community? 

Feed them baby brine shrimp

Id leave them with the parents.  If they get eaten, then you know to pull them next time. :P

Leave them with the parents they should raise a few generations in the same tank.  You can feed them baby brine as Blair said, I usually feed mine decapsulated brine shrimp or diamond pearls at the smaller micron size.
