After being around this hobby for about 4 decades I have seen alot of changes in fish from fancey guppies to the ever prized discuss. The one thing that has not changed is the passion that true hobbyists have. The big things I see is what is referred to as hybrids witch always has interesting veiws put on them. The different colors that we see on so many species is incredible. When I started in this hobby there wasnt so many  fish so readily avaliable. it is almost mind bending to think of all differences that there are to choose from now . Well I just wanted to bring this up to get other veiws out there. Some of the most beautiful fish I  see now I guess would be considered a hybrid and in my opinion a hybrid is us just pushing evaluation ahead thousands of years.

Almost a year to date since the last hybrid heated discussion......to keep or not to keep or food...are we ready?

As long as they are properly labeled I don't mind, but I have seen many that were not.
I recently saw some yellow lab x dolphin hybrids that looked like yellow lab colored dolphins......very odd.  They were labeled properly at least.

I ❤️ my Dragon's Blood Peacocks! They've made beautiful additions to my tank, so I don't mind hybrids as long as I know what I'm getting into. I say that....but I'm not sure what my OB Dragon's Blood is crossed with to get his stunning pink, red, and blue. 😂😂😳😳 I don't have strong feelings against hybrids, but I would be a lil heartbroken if my new Zebra Manda's turned out to be hybrids.
