One of my son's brought this home for me. Apparently, it outgrew his buddy's tank in under a month. I apologize for the quality of the pic, he's tough to catch motionless and in a place that I can see all of him. He has very pronounced spikes beginning behind his gill plate and running down his sides to the tail. There are several rows of them. In the five days that he's been here, that's the third color scheme that I've noticed. The tail is very deeply forked and the dorsal is massive when displayed. He's roughly five inches. Also, he seems to believe that he's either a bulldozer, mbuna, or a hands on landscape architect.
Thanks for any and all help.
