yet another fish store closing it's doors :( the aquarium shop

well looks like after 33 years in business the aquarium shop is closing it's doors, soo sad to see soo many stores out of business, seems like they can't compete with the big chains like petsmart and petco, and not to mention all the aquarium stuff you can get and livestock on the internet for a lot cheaper then lfs, just sad to see a lot of them close it's doors

I an not surprised with the experiences I have had in there the past 2 years.

pets n us

i'm sure im forgetting a couple but the list continues to grow

Those of you who've been in there recently, is it worth driving out there for their closeout sale?  Or skip it?  I guess it's going on through tomorrow night.

They never have much for dry goods if that is what you were looking for.

The only time they have any good fish is right after their order comes in.  So, I doubt they have ordered anything new lately.

Dang. They had decent freshies.... and they carried omega. No dead fish in tanks both times I shopped there.
