It's Amazing How Much We Rely On Our Cell Phones

It never ceases to amaze me how reliant we have become as a society on our electronic devices  ::)
I had a family get together today and left the house without my phone  >:(
We just finished dinner and I was at least able to log onto the forum for a quick fix  ;D
At least I didn't have anyone scheduled to come over for fish and/or foods  :)
Well, gotta go....kids are wanting birthday cake  :o

That's exactly why I don't have a smartphone.  Of course,  my wife got me this tablet instead. Fortunately,  I'm a techno neanderthal and don't know how to switch the not WiFi thing on. Before you tell me how, I don't want to know.

I gave up having a cell phone back about 12 years ago, honestly it was one of the best things I ever did. I have a huge pet peeve with people and cell phones. I think if more people would put down their cell phones they would have a much more enjoyable life. People miss so much that goes on around them because they are always looking down at their phone.

landline or cell phone...i only need them for 2 purposes..to make telephone calls or to receive telephone calls....i do not need one to play games...and i do not need one to wipe my butt...
