Another Problem
« on: March 28, 2015, 02:14:27 AM »
Like I needed another problem.....I have some trees that need to be cut down......one scares my mom...she thinks it going to fall into her bedroom....if it does, it will.  When the wind blows you can hear it creak and crack. Large branches fell off it this winter. Does anyone do this or know someone who does this work? I just need them cut down and I'll cleanup.
Thanks

If it's leaning away from the house and can be felled without risk to any structures, wires, etc, you might be able to find it done for free or cheap if you give the option of letting someone take the wood. Fall is better than spring, because the procrastinators won't be interested at this time of the year.

If there's a good chance that it needs to be taken down in section to avoid damaging the house, it's likely a job that should be done by someone insured to do so in case there's accidental damage, which means it won't be cheap.

I had a large Pine tree cut down & stump ground and another tree significant trimmed in December '13 by Jim Juengel Tree Service (586-855-4329).  They're a small crew that's fast, relatively inexpensive and they clean up everything very well.  They were highly recommended by Wiegand's Nursery for tree removal.

Worth a call.  Hope it helps.
