Frozen Brine Shrimp
« on: March 21, 2015, 09:48:56 PM »
I know that people have used live shrimp and they say there great for fry. Im curious if anyone has used the frozen cubes. I almost ordered today some, but the cost of shipping is what stopped me. Any input/advice/experience is welcomed. Where you purchased, if you use it etc....
Thanks in advance.
SKI,

I haven't had any fry yet but I use the flats to feed my neon and rams twice a week.
A few fish and the desire for more.

I feed them to all my fry as a staple food.. Don't buy the cubes though.. you can buy a whole sheet that is about 10"x12" and 3/8 thick for the same price as the cubes. My local LFS carries it.

If I need it, then I buy it from Josh when he does a bulk order. But any lfs should carry it.

BTW - why is this in DIY?  Were you thinking about freezing some yourself?

Thanks Blair, may have to check with Josh, and as far as DIY... Accident. Feel free to re-locate to general topic.
