Can the Lamprologus callipterus be sexed? If so interested in 8 of them, but want a good mix like maybe 3 males and 5 females.
Josh, the size listed is max for females but the males can get up to 6" so it might be a tough call to get your ratio.
I can ask Laif to send 5 small fish and 3 of the largest fish to hopefully get that ratio.

No these fish do not pair off. Large dominant males gather a harem of females, which are typically hiding in small shells.
The males will actually steal the females from other males by picking up the shell in their mouth and carrying it over to his pile of shells loaded with females.
