TMS LED light strip
« on: February 14, 2015, 10:52:10 AM »
So, we needed a new light strip.

Took a gamble from one of these from Amazon for $57 shipped.

Very nice for the price... happy with it.

Still haven't found an LED that lights up fish as well as a good florescent set up though.

I hear you. The LED just has a very focused light dispersion, so it doesn't illuminate near the surface as well and the fish may appear dark at times.

Chinese black box dimmable leds do. Each is about $100 and will light a 24x30 area super bright. I have one over a 45 and run it at about 30% max power.
