You can do a static camera directly to the projector easy to do. Just need to figure out where the camera is going to be located to give optimal picture of the fish.

I would think the ideal location would be ~45 degrees downward in front of the person reading off the item up for bid. Would be cool if it was removable from a stand in the event of fish in styros/buckets/etc, so someone could manually hold the camera to show that particular item and then place it back on the stand.

The only way for it to be mobile is if we had some type of transmitet, bot going to be cheep. we need to check to see if the projector dose HDMI if it dose then We could use an Apple TV and anyone's Apple phone or ipad and then We could use airplay directly to the projector. If it is only equips with VGA ports and video ports I think it's going to need to be static.I will do some digging for solutions.

If we have to go old school, I have a Sony Digital 8 camcorder that has an S video port, will that work?  If so, we would just need the cord and a tripod.

It definitely only had a VGA cable coming out behind the wall, and the projector is ceiling mounted.  They might have some sort of wireless set up, but I didn't see anything when I was poking around.  You might contact the hall, or ask them about it at the Motor City auction as they often have video going.

This would do it if the projector has composite video
