WTB Pearly Ocellatus
« on: December 12, 2014, 07:36:02 PM »
Hello All,

I am from the Mount Clemens area and am looking for a few pearly ocellatus fish.  I would like for them to be at least an inch and a half, since I'd be putting them in a 40gal long that currently has an adult brevis pair, a year-old calvus, and a juvenile compressiceps.  Does anyone breed these or know of someone who does?

Thanks!

Update: I set up one of my twenty gallon long tanks, so I will take one inch fry!

I have four unsexed adults from a group that I have separated two pairs.  I'm in Howell but get into Livonia once or twice a week.  You can have the four unsexed for $30 or one of the pairs for $20.

I am interested in a pair for $20.  Have they spawned yet?

I have four unsexed adults that I took the two pairs from.  It appears to be one male and three females.  I plan on keeping the other two pair to make sure I get some fry.  The fish are from my own breeding and I sold the parents (two pairs from different sources) so these fish are from two different gene pools.  Pearlies are fairly easy to spawn and make good parents.

Are you still willing to sell the 4 unsexed ones then?  I have three myself, but no sign of pairing off.

The four are available at $30 for the lot.  PM your phone number and we can make arrangements to meet.  I get into Livonia/Westland at least once a week.
