That would look amazing in my basement!

Can't say I'm willing to drop $6k on a tank though ...  :(

What I find interesting is that this guy probably has no clue what its really worth. As a hobbiest we spend money that we think is well placed, but this guy isn't the builder of this system, he took it as collateral. While I think it is worth some real money, I think this guy is going to end up waiting quite a bit of time to get anywhere near that kinda of money. Someone that has that level of funds to spend right away is either going to buy new equipment, build a system themselves or not even look on a site like craigslist in the first place. I wish him the best in luck in recuperating the funds that he held it in leau of, but if its the whole 6k hes screwed.

I agree way too much $$$.  He'll be lucky to get 2K.  12' long tank would be cool though.
I used to be a people person... but people ruined that for me.

Ron make him an offer. You NEED that tank. And I agree that he won't get 6K for it.

I would, but I can't see offering him anything close to what he's asking. Jeff is closer to what I'm thinking - he'd be lucky to get $2k for it, but I can't see paying that much myself despite having a wall it'd look great on. Hopefully people can help keep this thread updated if he drops the price ... I'll be keeping an eye on it.  :)
