Moved to Old World as jewels are African.

What happens to them?   Fungus?  Parents eat them?  Parents abandon them?

I think that they get eaten as the just disappear.

Snatch them out & artificially hatch them.  If they still don't hatch then they probably aren't fertilized.

We pulled the eggs out and they all turned white and rotted.  I assume that they were not fertile.  Any suggestions?

Did you use methylene blue?   What was your artificial hatching setup?

No I did not.  It was a small tank hanging off of the main tank with extra water movement past the eggs. Should I set up a small tank alone with a sponge filter and methylene blue?

I do it with methylene blue & an airstone,  in a bucket.  So, your setup,  with the addition of some methylene blue, should be fine.

Thanks.  How much methylene blue do you add?

No problem.  Just follow the bottle's instructions.
