Hi, I'm new here. I got this 40 high cycled recently and I finally put in some fish. . Since it's so high, I figured I go with Angel Fish. I tried out some Crayola blue playsand; kind of intense looking, but I wanted something different other than white or tan san that I use in my other tanks. It's very fine...The corys should like it (when I get some). I do sand for catfish. I'll get rid of the blue vase; I just threw it in to give the fish some form of cover. Actually, I'm really liking these angels (had gold veils when I was young). Looking forward to setting up another angel tank. I just bought a used 100 gal long, 6 footer, and 24 in high. I'm going to do angels in there too since it's only a foot wide. Hope the pic posts. Nothing great, just an iphone pic.
