Cyathopharynx Furcifer Ruziba
« on: June 24, 2014, 01:38:54 PM »
Here is a pic of one of my male Cyathopharynx Furcifer Ruziba.  The group is in a 165g with some Mpimbwe Frontosa.

Very nice.  Are they breeding yet for you?

I had one Ruziba female holding but she ended up eating the clutch.  Your Fronts have not yet bred for me yet but they keep on growing.  ;)

Cool, let me know when you get fry.  The fronts look like they are growing nicely.

Beautiful fish Mike, Cyathopharynx have been one of my faves for a long time. My favorite is the variant from Sibwesa but your Ruziba are definitely a contender for being a new fave.

I almost bought a pair of Sibwesa at the ACA.  The seller was putting the male in the bag and he promptly rolled over onto his back and died right there on the spot before the guy could even tie off the bag.  One of the most bizarre things I've ever seen.   Maybe he had heard about the winters in Michigan or something.

Hope you are feeling better by the way.  Let me know if you need any help with your fish.

Strange...I've seen that before though. Other times the fish just appeared to be dead but popped back upright. Dizzy fish I guess....(Cool name for a band...Dizzy Fish)
Thanks for the offer...I'll let you know.
