Anyone have a nice 55 gallon tank?
« on: June 19, 2014, 02:39:25 PM »
Ok.. so I can't sell the wood stand I have.. so why not find a tank for it?

Looking for a good to excellent condition 55G tank... top would be nice, glass or plastic doesn't matter. I do not need lights but if you have lights I won't say no.

Please remember I can buy a new one for $55 during "the sale" so clearly I don't want to pay more..

Then once I get the 55 up and running.. I plan to clear some fish.. so coming up will be a very large breeding group of Cyps (used to be Josh's), half a gazillionfry to juvenile yellow labs (some already trying to breed), a breeding pair of Mloto Ivoryhead, a large Fuelleborni (sp?), a breeding group of yellow lab adults, a bunch of orange zebras.. the list goes on.. LOL

Thanks! Marc and family..

Why not wait till the sale then? But new anything I'd be able to sell you would be more cause of how thick the glass is and you the quality of work they are  some of the 55s I've been getting have 1/2 bottoms as well.

I killed it around to wait.. but honestly I need to set something up to move some fish around. I have several tanks I need to start clearing.. I am also holding several fry and juvies for a buddy PLUS his champsochromis group which are starting to stretch the tank dimensions.

Hopefully someone has one.. Once I get all of this sorted out then I can tear it back down for another fish move/rainy day.

-Marc and family..

BTW- I have a 60 acrylic cube project and a 110 acrylic cube (new in the box) but not prepared to set them up yet. Just thought it might be easiest to throw a 55 up and move some fish..

THANKS!

I think it starts next week. If not find Rich and see what he has laying around he normally has something to sell.

Buy the tank now, then get the price adjusted when it goes on sale

Hi,

I am new here, but am also interested in a 55 gallon tank. I am aware of "the sale" that goes on but always seem to miss it (just recently started getting back into scaping) - is there any info on when the next one is? If I were to assume here, I would guess that is rather soon? Thanks guys.

just a note: i had no idea there was a site like this for us michiganders :)

Is it for all locations state-wide?
