Stupid question but where is the best place to purchase bags for bagging fish.  And more importantly what kind of bags are fish safe?

Not sure where others get them but I bought some off Aquabid a few months ago if that helps.

i buy all of the plastic bags i use by the case...i have a place that has excellent prices but you have to buy 1000 of whatever size you use..you can buy almost everything there..all kinds of bags and other packaging supplies , labels etc..
      www.packagingsupplies.com

nowadays almost all bags made need to be food safe...so pretty much any that you buy will be ok for fish..i have been buying from this company for about 8 years and have had no problems whatsoever...

Ken's Fish or Jehmco.com  Both are about the same in price, slightly different sizes and both don't seem to have issues with pin holes or bad bottom seams.

They do - anyone wanting bags would need to attend a meeting IIRC or an auction event (or perhaps schedule privately with whomever is responsible for the bags. The only downside is, we only have 2-mil bags ... IMO they are alright, but 3-mil bags are more than 150% better and worth the extra cost.
