Thanks for the suggestion about Larry but after spending several hundred...more like a few thousand on fish and supplies over the course of a few years I asked for help about medicating some sick fish with ick. He told me he wouldnt help me cause he thought I bought from another place in town...which i had not...I didnt care that they were sick. I know that sometimes stuff just happens. He insisted that I did buy from someone else and basically told me it wasnt his problem if it came from another place. I pleaded with him tell him it was not from anywhere else and further more i dont care if the disease came from his store or not...i just wanted some helpful info and was more than willing to pay for the medication. He acted like i was attacking him and was saying his fish were sick. It couldnt have been further from the case. I simply had a outbreak and had never had it before. that was 5 years ago and I havnt been back since. The sad thing is that some of the best looking fish i ever got came from him. Ive racked my brain more than one time trying to figure out why he snapped on me like that and I couldnt figure it it. Either way I wont go back. 2 minutes of words and a sale of some medication and he would have still had my business and the thousands I have spend on fish/supplies since then. I guess we both lose.
90 Gallon tanks make for good Discus tanks!
I have been thinking about a 90gallon tank redo of my own. Im probly just gonna move my current fish around tho. I really think i would like to get/find some drift wood of some sort. Maybe, the brown water ive heard some speak about is sorta a concern of mine. Anyone ever use driftwood from a local lake or river before? Im sure i have asked in the past.

Anyone ever use driftwood from a local lake or river before? Im sure i have asked in the past. I have. I used several pieces from local rivers and a few from Mullet Lake. I put mine in the shower in tubs and rinsed with water over and over again...also boiling water. Worked fine...a bit of brown for a few months than it was done. Thank you, ive been thinking of using some for quite a while now, since our natural resources of it are so plentiful. Just gotta find some of the right pieces now for the tank.
