No they're pretty easy to care for. Theyre similar to dart frogs in how they need a pretty high humidity and moderate temp. They also stay fairly small so they can be fed the same thing as the dart frogs
Good info. Last time we had a discussion about this at my house it went like..."Hey, let's get some frogs" "OK" "You have to pick up crickets at least every other week and occasionally mist them" Silence. "I guess we're not getting frogs, eh?"
So we're pretty much at the place that I'm not buying any pet that I can't stick a hose in its tank and clean out the crud. When I want to get my fill of scooping up waste e.g. litterbox/dog kennel I can always go change my one year old's diapers.
