German Blue Rams
« on: January 12, 2014, 11:34:33 PM »
Good Evening everyone,

Last night while starting to get ready to do my water change I noticed my German Blue Rams were spawning.  I was just curious if anyone knew anything about them.  I have read some things about them.

Sorry for the delay.  Lots of stuff going on.  The eggs were gone by the next evening.  They spawned again and the same thing happened.

What else is in the tank, i.e., corys, plecos, tetras, etc.? All of the aforementioned are egg thieves. ;)

I have all of these varieties in the tank.  I woke up this morning and when I turned on the tank I had another spawn.  Had a lot of activity around them so I quarantined the eggs,  I separated them from the parents so I hope this is going to be okay.  I have not gotten any spawn to last more than a day.

No they did not.   I lost my all My Rams last week.  Only fish in my tank to die it is really strange.

I have had that happen to me as well. It is like they only have a certain amount of spawns in them and they die like Salmon do. Best of luck next time though because I'm sure it is something we are doing wrong. Finicky little buggers.
