Picked up sevn xenotilapia papilio tembwe deux yesterday. Can't wait for them to start breeding. Not my pic, will take one once they settle in. Very cool xeno.
Who's your source, Josh? I've had a group for a number of years but they have never been productive spawners. I just noticed one of my experienced females holding this afternoon. It's been a few years since this pair has spawned so I'm not sure the eggs are fertile. I've also been on the road for a week prior to noting the holding female so I don't know how long she may have been holding before I noticed her condition today. I guess we'll see. (At the upcoming MCA auction in January we can talk about this species as well as converting to a central heater for your fishroom if you still would like to.)
Also, any more success with your Cyp. microlepidotus Bulu Point producing fry?
