Hap insignus
« on: November 04, 2013, 08:42:46 AM »
Does anyone know who was selling these Hap insignus at the sept. auction?  I got a bag of 5.  I was hoping for maybe a male or two and a couple of females....I got 4 (possibly 5) males and 1 or 0 females.  Looking for some females of these.
Thanks

Can you post a link to a pic of the one you are speaking of? I might have a lead.

I think they go by Protomelas spilonotus "tanzania" now. http://www.davesfish.com/images/Protomelas%20sp%20Spilonotus%20Tanzania%20Liuli%202.jpg
Whomever was selling them had 5 or 6 bags of them, even had one at the raffle table.  I got a bag of them with one I could see was male...now that they've grown a bit there are definitely more males.  I was hoping to find a few more females to start a breeding group.  Thanks.
