Uh Oh
« on: October 03, 2013, 02:11:19 PM »
So yesterday I picked up a male and female L183 (Starlight) pair. I was planning on keeping them in a 20L that i use as a grow out tank. Got a nice piece of driftwood...now my mind stats thinking. A little sand, some plants, a couple rams.  :o  So, would a pair of rams and that pair of plecos work in a 20L. Id like to throw some basic and hardy live plants in there too. Thoughts?

No Blair, I'm not going to go on a New World binge!!!

Info about breeding L183: http://www.plecoplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10840

More info on the species: http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=221

Like Jenna said, I don't think they'll breed together, because of rams eating pleco eggs or vice versa, but I don't think they'd bother each other aside from that (the rams and the plecos).
