WTB- Large male OB peacock
« on: September 16, 2013, 12:43:20 AM »
Looking for the last fish I want for my all male peacock & hap show tank. Looking for a 4"-5" male OB peacock that is really nice and colorful. Something with red & blue or long as it has nice bright multiple colors showing. I'm in Royal Oak so reasonable distance please, if you have or know of one let me know.

My wife finally talked me into getting one that looked almost exactly like that.

Brought it home... all color is gone.  >:(

Just wanted to say thanks for the great deal on an absolutely beautiful fish Mark. I've been sitting here watching him for the past bit this evening (he settled right in no problems btw) and I just can't get over how great looking he is. He's the final piece to this tank now, he's exactly what I was looking for to round out this tank. Very nice meeting you as well.

Not much aggression at all to be honest. Every once in awhile he will take a run at someone but it just ends with him turning away and no real fighting or even contact at all. There's a cave I built into the 3D background which he seems to have claimed for himself, which works out good because for some reason none of the other fish ever seemed to use that cave.

I spoke too soon Mark, overnight he turned into a holy terror lol. This morning he was just chasing the rest of the peacocks around relentlessly, so now he's in a time out. I switched him to the Mbuna tank for a bit and after getting chased a bit himself by the zebras now he seems to ha settled down quite a bit. I think I'll let him cool his jets a bit more overnight and then try to reintroduce him into the peacock tank again.
