« on: August 25, 2013, 10:08:28 PM »
i like changing my rock work around on a fairly regular basis. this is my latest tinkering session.
I have about 18,000 rounds of .223 I'm  looking to get rid of, 100 rd bags. 1-4 bags $40 ea, 5-9 bags $38 ea, 10 or more bags $35 ea. I can't put this in the for sale section, its not fish related. No shipping.

Nice Pics !!!!

I see a lot of nice cover and great use of rock.

It has always amazed me how much weight in rocks you can put on a piece of glass (and that's on top of the weight of the substrate and water) !!!!

Those look great.  Mission Man mentioned the rock in a glass tank.  Question- does anyone out there put anything under the substrate or rock formations to act like a cushion?

Just wondering as I will be setting up a 195 in a few months and have quite a bit of holey rock and nice river rocks.

Looks good Wayne

Dawn,  some people like to use eggcrate to lay across the bottom & cover with substrate.

I use eggcrate in all my 6 ft tanks and then in my 4 ft tanks I am going to put heavy rock in.

I thought I read that at some point.  Just use the kind they have at WalMart or hobby store?

Thanks Blair and Josh.

I looked it up online and found what "egg crate" you were talking about.  Found some at Menards today.

I've tried so long to get my male fuelleborni to stay still enough for a pic. I had my cell phone with me tonight. I snapped a pic of one of the little tbar cichlids too(archocentrus sajica). The acei itungi photo bombed the third pic.
