Blueish tint of a Peacock...

Question:  If a Peacock is showing that blueish tint all along each side, is that a good indication that it is a Male ?

No, I've had dominate females get it. It is generally easier to look for the pointed dorsal and anal fin. If the fish is big enough to vent I would go that route.

They are definitely not dominate fish right now,  in fact I just moved the dominate fish out of the tank in the hopes that these would start to color up.  That was a couple of weeks ago,  so I should assume then that because they are starting to get that blueish tint that they are males
