WTB: a set of 180 gallon moldings
« on: August 18, 2013, 12:12:57 PM »
Just purchased a used 180 gallon aquarium and it needs a new set of moldings before I even attempt to use it, so if anyone can help me out that'll be great :)
Thanks for looking

Great Lakes Aquariums has those for standard size glass aquariums.  Check your width and length and give them a call.

I have no idea what brand it is, but its an older tank that leaked, was resealed & held water for a while, then the guy moved & it sat empty for a year, so I plan on resealing it again due to it looks way to thin for me to trust, & the black trim has no center brace either, so I re-doing it all in one go if possible.
And thanks, I will call first thing Monday morning  :)

Best bet man would be to do it in glass find some half inch glass and brace around it and in that process it run a brace across the middle. Google euro bracing a tank and you'll see what i mean.
