i like cyathopharynx foai, i don't know how many are keeping them around here but i dont think they're very common. there are a bunch of different featherfins out there but i like these the most. i dont have anything rare in my tanks, yellow labs, and fuellerborni. ha
I have a cyathopharynx furcifer, which used to be labeled under the same name but got changed. Really hoping it's a male
hows the agg level?
I have about 18,000 rounds of .223 I'm  looking to get rid of, 100 rd bags. 1-4 bags $40 ea, 5-9 bags $38 ea, 10 or more bags $35 ea. I can't put this in the for sale section, its not fish related. No shipping.

It's not too bad actually. He was in a tang. Tank and was too small for the rest of the fish In there, so I put him in my mbuna tank and he does pretty well. He doesn't bother anyone and nobody bothers him

BTW - the rarest Malawi I'm keeping is Metriaclima Hayjomaylandi.  But, I know of 2 other people in Michigan who have them also.

Any chance you'll have some at the auction?
I am planning on hoarding all the ones I have. But, maybe we could work something out.

Now I've only been in the hobby a little over a year so maybe some of you old dogs could chip in and talk about the good olde days.
The rare ones from the "good olde days" either became common, because people like them, or almost obsolete, because people didn't like them.  :P

All in all, there are ebbs and flows to what is common, what is rare, and what is sought after.

For anyone disappointed that there aren't more uncommon or rare species (Malawians in particular) at auctions, look in the mirror. The quality of what's there results from what's chosen by those who bring fish in the first place.  :)
