Help, I need stocking ideas, can you help me since I am having a heck of a time finding the Yellow Acara on line and at the LFS (on site or ordering)
I would like to get some ideas from some of you on what might look good and go together with my present stocking plan.
At the moment, I have 3 Uaru (2") lost my fourth one the other day. Just did not keep up with the others at feeding time. I have 11 Geo. Altifrons (1-2") will dwendle them down to 5-6 in the coming yr.
I am still looking for A. Metae (Yellow Acara) I have two Rotkeil Juvies on hold at the LFS, not sure if I will take them or not because of their adult size and similarity in shape to the Uaru. I have interest in
A. Heckilli, Rainbow Cichlids and Keyhole Cichlids (but would rather keep it to South American). Looking for only 2-3 of whatever I decide on.
so whats your opinon and ideas. They will be going in my 100 gallon 5 foot tank eventially. I might end up just having the pair of Uaru to keep the peace, and to keep me from severely overcrowding the tank.
So my tank ideas when they are full grow are
2 Uaru
5-6 Altifrons
2 Yellow Acara
a couple of my BN plecos and 1 King Tiger Pleco L66
