Tropheops sp. chilumba Mphanga Rocks
« on: June 11, 2013, 02:03:43 AM »
So I have 8 fry of these coming from a friend of mine. Has anybody kept them? I know they're a highly aggressive species and am looking for tips on keeping them. I'm hoping to keep 1 male and 3 or 4 females? Is that enough? Can they be ok in a 40B tank or do I need a 55G for them? Does it have to be a species tank or can I keep anything else with them? Anything else I'm missing? Thanks.

Kept some tropheops varieties in the '70s and remember them as highly aggressive.  Haven't had any in years.  Good Luck!
