Looks very nice Tim.  Too bad it'll be torn apart when I get there later. I'd like to see it complete & running.

I wish they would just swim into the net ... it sure would make this a lot easier !!!

I'm about ready to take a video of all the fish with all the decorations and plants out.  Then I'll do another one once it's all back together.

Tim what kind of camera did you use to shoot those pictures?  Great looking tank with plants.

Nothing really spectacular ... a Nikon D5100 Digital SLR with a 50mm f2.8, with ISO 1000 and exposure of 1/80s and NO flash, which I've found is much better for fish shots.  I also make sure I have a ton of ambient lighting, although, I didn't use any extra lighting.

Thanks for kind words !!!

Sorry for not responding earlier ... I was out of commission since the 10th (long story).

Anyways is a type of Anubias, but I can't remember which one.  This where I purchased them from and their Anubias ... http://www.aquariumplants.com/Anubias_s/26.htm

I hope this helps.

All the best !!!

Beautiful. I like to do a planted take some day. How hard is vacuuming the substrate with live plants.

I don't know about him but Anytime I try it took the plant with it so I stopped and just did huge water changes with out gravel vacuuming and they are growing like weeds.  :)

I would imagine you could move them? Just didn't know if they could be up-rooted all the time?
