Has anyone ever seen or heard of a female Kenyi turning gold colored like a male Kenyi ?

How do you know it is definitely a female?

I suspect you're looking at a male who just took a while to show his true color.

The closest case I can think of where a truly female cichlid took on male coloration is with M. auratus I've kept, but even then the females at best pulled off an imitation "sub-dominant male" coloration of muddy brown rather than a striking black/white.

Take it and put it with a sor sure female, And see if it returns to blue.

IT'S BEEN IN THE TANK WITH 2 SURE BLUE FEMALES BOTH ABOUT 4" SAME AS IT AN A ALL GOLD MALE ABOUT 5" 1/2+ FOR 2 DAYS ?
