Tanked on Animal Planet
« on: August 21, 2011, 01:26:38 AM »
So Animal Planet has a new series called Tanked.  Its kind of like American Choopers for fish tanks.  Its okay...  Watch it if you have nothing better to do.
I used to be a people person... but people ruined that for me.

I enjoyed it. The two owners are fun to watch together.

How would you like to work on that phone booth tank? I thought my 30" tall tank was bad.

I found this show last week.  I set the DVR to record it.

That "L" shaped tank was sweet with the two flat screens

I just watched the last one on my DVR. (keg tank one)

Looks like these guys don't know their freshwater- I wouldn't be putting those bigger Malawians in a tank like that.

They do a lot of things on that show that I wouldn't.  Like instantly fully stocking a tank.  I don't care if they are using seasoned filters, you don't stock new tanks that heavily.

They must be doing something right otherwise they wouldn't still be in business. But they have to have someone that knows fish because they do maintaince maybe that person is boring so they are not on the show
75 tanks and counting.........
