Keep an eye on water parameters this month (March/April)

Many city water supplies are upping the amount of chlorine this time of year, so you may need to use additional dechlorinator or take precautions to keep your water parameters in check. AFAIK, this is an annual thing for many municipalities where they stop using chloramine for 2-4 weeks and use more chlorine instead.

I'm sure many of you know this but for those who were not as up on it, like me, just giving a heads up.  I think I lost one fish to this so I am taking steps to make sure it doesn't happen to any others.

I realize having a spot where you can age water may be preferred over treating with dechlorinators, but in my case at work and in my basement there is not space for that kind of setup.
