power out (back on)

Well I'm having major electrical work done on my house so the power is turned off.  I thought I prepared but clearly not enough here is my first lose .

Sorry to hear that.  Was it a temperature or an oxygen issue do you think?

All tanks are looking rough.  This could be hobby ending all large fish most likely dead tropheus look to be dieing.  Fryseem fine probably entire 90 ggone.  Not getting better even with huge water changes during.  Total fish room crash.

If lack of O2, it's perhaps resulting from no water disturbance and a protein film building up across the surface of the tank. Just try swishing the surface of the water around every 20-30 minutes.

If you're doing water changes and trying to compensate with warm water, keep in mind that dissolved O2 decreases the water the warmer the water is.

That's actually why I asked how long it was gonna be out for. I just bought a 1700/2000w Generator 3 weeks ago when my power went out, djlamonica if you would like to borrow it give me a call, I'm in Royal Oak so not all that far away from ya. Just PM me and I will give you my #
