Ruby Red Peacock
« on: March 12, 2013, 10:11:03 AM »
I got this trio from Stan M. a few months ago.  The male started to get even more color as soon as he got in the tank with his ladies.  They are about the size of a matchbox.... give or take.

This was last night with my cell phone.

He's going to look good just like his daddy.

I think so too.

I think I am more excited about this fish than any of the others we have.  Thats why they got their own tank.

The plan was to put them in with the other Peacocks.

I need to post an updated picture.  Looking great!  Breeding like mad.  We have 30 fry and just letting any news ones fend for themselves in the tank.

May weed out the other male and also a couple females shortly as he continues to grow.

This is one hard to photograph fish!

I thought he was starting to look good above... psssh... nothing compared to now.  I just hope he darkens up the red color.
