I thought it was a reputable company. It seemed like a well known name among gardeners.
If anyone else is planting trees/shrubs/gardens this spring I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere! They put certain apples trees on special for $5ea, so I ordered a 1/2 dozen. Then charged me the full price of $30ea for the trees after the CC confirmation went through at checkout. $200 vs $40 is a heck of a price jump!

So I called to get them to straighten out the order and refund $160.
A week later (today) I get an email that they oversold and want everyone who ordered to get one, so they're limiting the trees to 1 per order and refunding the remainder (shipping charge remained the same regardless). Talk about some shady business practices!

On the bright side they did agree to cancel my order without any surcharges.
I've joked with friends about the idea of a "business" that sells a "product", holds the customers money and uses it for investments to make interest, then refunds the purchase price after a long period of delay (interest = profit), but I didn't think that they so readily existed already.
